David St.Clare Nelson

David St.Clare Nelson has over 30 years of industry experience and is a leading authority on trading documentation specialising in the Global Master Repurchase Agreement (“GMRA”), Global Securities Lending Master Agreement (“GMSLA”) and ISDA Master Agreement (“ISDA”). David’s expertise also covers Prime Brokerage agreements, Derivatives documentation and Investment Management agreements. During his years in the City David has worked for some of the biggest names in finance, including Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank, Citadel, Prudential, Mitsubishi UFJ, Credit Suisse and Wells Fargo. He was also a member of the drafting committee for the GMRA 1995 and GMRA 2000 and for the GMSLA 2010. David read law at the University of Bristol and was called to the Bar in 1985.
