Chasham Mitra

Chasham Mitra has over 20 years of industry experience spanning front office, legal and advisory roles. During his seven years at Morgan Stanley, he provided legal support to the tax structured finance business before moving on to lead the firm’s global secured funding initiative; where he was responsible for structuring, marketing and execution of fixed income, equities and commodities assets. He also established two structured note programs which facilitated a diversification of the firm’s investor base. Prior to that, he was a lawyer in the Asian real estate group at Lehman Brothers, Tokyo. He originally qualified as a solicitor at Linklaters where he was seconded to their Singapore and Tokyo offices. His primary area of focus has involved perfecting security on complex cross border transactions. More recently Chasham has acted as a consultant advising on securitisation and structured finance transactions and as a project manager for Brexit and governance framework initiatives. He has also played a key role in implementing regulatory and change management projects.
At Northcross his primary focus is on the legal aspects of existing programs and launching new ones.
