Steve Anthoney co-founded Northcross Capital Management Limited and Northcross Capital LLP in 2005 and has over 15 years of experience in the short-term fixed income markets in trading, sales and management roles.  Steve was head of JP Morgan’s market leading ECP business from 1996 until 2004 which was recognised with the IFR House of the Year award in 2004. His product experience includes ECP, USCP, CD’s, FX Forwards, FRN’s, short term bonds,  MTN’s, Futures and OIS.  As desk head he was responsible for setting and achieving planned revenue targets, running short-term interest  rate risk, managing priority borrower and investor relationships, participation in origination and investor marketing, overseeing the control environment and developing JPM’s electronic trade platforms on Tradeweb and Bloomberg.  Prior to the ECP desk Steve worked on the Fixed Income Repo desk for two years and for 7 years in JPM’s IT department in a variety of roles developing systems for front office fixed income users. Steve has a BSc Hons in Maths and Computer Science from the University of Kent at Canterbury.

►Can Bitirim co-founded Northcross Capital Management Limited and Northcross Capital LLP in 2005 and has over 20 years experience across a broad range of credit, Short Term Interest Rate and capital market products as a trader and a manager.  Until 2005 he was Head of Commerzbank London Interest Rate Trading and Asset & Liability Management (ALM).  Prior to this role he was a Managing Director within Deutsche Bank Global Markets.  He worked at Deutsche Bank for nearly six years with various responsibilities including Regional Head of Money Markets/Repo London and latterly Global Head of Short Term Cash Trading.  Prior to Deutsche, he worked for CIBC - New York, where he traded and managed the bank funding books.  Prior to being in NY Can worked for CIBC in London, beginning as a trader on the London Stock Exchange, progressing through to bond, asset swap and credit trading and into foreign exchange and finance.  He began his career at the stockbrokers Scrimigeour Kemp Gee & Son.

►David Hynes co-founded Northcross Capital Management Limited and Northcross Capital LLP in 2005 and has over 20 years of experience in financial markets.  David joined Morgan Stanley in 2004 as Executive Director responsible for management of their offshore liquidity funds.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, David spent 8 years with Gartmore investment Management as a Principal (equity partner) and Head of Fixed Income Structured Products.  Before that, he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Eagle Star (now Threadneedle) as a fixed income fund manager.  David was chairman of IMMFA, the trade association for Institutional Money Market Funds from 2000-2002, chair of their technical committee from 2002-2004 and is currently serving on IMMFA’s advisory board.  He also served on the Bank of England’s Money Market Liaison Group from 2001-2005.  David graduated from University College Dublin with a B.A. in Economics and History and went on to attain a postgraduate diploma in Economic Science.
